Installing Modules

The module installation process is standard for OpenCart versions 2.3 and 3.0 and is done via the built-in extension installer.

Step 1. Preparation

1. Download the module archive corresponding to your OpenCart version.
2. Make sure the archive has the correct .ocmod.zip extension.

Step 2. Uploading to the system

1. Go to your store's administrative panel.
2. In the left menu, select Extensions → Installer.
3. Click the Upload button and select the downloaded .ocmod.zip archive.
4. Wait for the success message to appear.

Step 3. Updating modifications cache

1. Go to the Extensions → Modifications section.
2. Click the Clear button, and then Refresh.

Step 4. Module activation

1. Go to the Extensions section → select the Modules filter.
2. Find the uploaded module in the list and click Install.
3. Click Edit to go to the settings.

Done!

The module is successfully installed and ready to use. If you use third-party caching modules (for example, Twig caching), clear their cache.
