Cart Reminder (SmartCart) Module Installation

The installation of the "Cart Reminder - Uncompleted order notification" module is done in the standard way via the OpenCart administrative panel.

Step 1. Uploading the module archive

1. In the Dist folder of the downloaded module, find the archive corresponding to your OpenCart version (e.g., ex_smartcart_OC_3.0.ocmod.zip or ex_smartcart_OC_2.3.ocmod.zip).
2. Go to the administrative panel of your store.
3. In the left menu, select Extensions → Installer.
4. Click the Upload button and select the required archive file.
5. Wait for the green success message to appear.

Step 2. Updating modifications

1. Go to the Extensions → Modifications section.
2. Be sure to click the Clear button (orange) in the upper right corner.
3. Then click Refresh (blue). This will apply all necessary changes to the file cache.

Step 3. Module Activation

1. Go to the Extensions → Extensions section and select the Modules filter type.
2. Find the ! Cart Reminder - Uncompleted order notification module in the list and click the green Install button (plus sign).
3. Click the Edit button (pencil) to go to the settings. The module is ready to be configured!

Template adaptation

The module is completely autonomous and displays a floating notification over the site. For this module, you do not need to install additional template adaptation files!
