Cart Reminder Usage Instructions

The Cart Reminder (or SmartCart) module is a lightweight and conversion-oriented tool. It displays a beautiful pop-up/floating notification for users who have put products in the cart but have not completed the checkout (for example, continued reading blog articles or scrolling other pages).

The notification text usually looks like this: "There are N items in the cart for the amount of X. Checkout".

The module is as simple to set up as possible and does not require complex configuration.

Module configuration

Go to Extensions -> Extensions -> Modules -> ! Cart Reminder - Uncompleted order notification.

On the editing page, the following parameters are available to you:

1. Status: Enable (Enabled) so that the module starts tracking the cart and displaying the notification to users with products.
2. Button color: Set the color of the main "Checkout" button on the notification panel to match the main accent color of your site.
3. Button color on hover: The color the button will take when hovering the mouse cursor (it is recommended to make it slightly darker or lighter than the main color).
4. Icon color (Mobile): On mobile devices, long text may not fit, so a compact cart icon is displayed. Here you can set its color.

After adjusting the colors, simply click the Save button (floppy disk) in the upper right corner.

Increasing conversion

Thanks to the fact that the floating window is always in plain sight, the buyer does not forget that they have already selected products, which significantly reduces the percentage of "abandoned carts".
